Review: Beloved Deceiver by Margaret Blake

Beloved Deceiver by Margaret Blake

Marsden "Mars" Collingwood thinks Flora Billington has lost her mind when she asks him to marry her. For one, he does not think someone like her is his type. Mars is used to the finer things in life including his women, who appear as if they have stepped off a page of a high fashion magazine. But another thought occurs to Mars when he finds out he could get revenge on his nemesis, Ari Palvides, by marrying his daughter. Will Mars end up getting into more trouble than he bargained for by agreeing to put up this farce with Flora?

Beloved Deceiver by Margaret Blake is a sweet and sensual read! With Mars' mysterious qualities and Flora's openness the couple is an awkward match perfect for romance. What makes Beloved Deceiver a winner is the character growth that Blake shows to readers. We see both Mars and Flora change as they learn more about themselves and each other. Readers will fall in love with both characters and really want the best for them by mid-story. The story that unfolds between Flora and Mars and Flora and her father Ari is one sure to warm the hearts of many. This is definitely a book I would recommend to readers!
